What is Jellyfin?¶

Jellyfin is a free, open-source media server software that allows users to organize, manage, and stream their personal media collections across multiple devices. It was created as a fork of Emby after Emby went closed-source in 2018. Jellyfin offers similar functionality to Emby and Plex. Jellyfin is fully free with no premium features locked behind a subscription.

Jellyfin requires you to enter the server link, port, username, and password.
